The 3rd edition of Champions League T20 tournament (CLT20) will be played in India from 23rd September to 9th October 2011. The matches will be played in Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) has been qualified for the tournament from India based on their performance in the Indian Premier League Season 4 (IPL 4).
Prior to the main event which features ten teams, a six-team qualifier event will be held in Hyderabad from 19th - 21st September 2011. The first 3 teams in this round will qualify to the final round along with the other 7 teams which has already qualfied.

The opening / inaugural match of 2011 Champions League Twenty20 will be played as Bengaluru's M.Chinnaswamy Stadium on 23rd September 2011 and the finals of the tournament will be played at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
