Amitabh Bachchan Visits Ajmer Sharif after 40 Years : Photo & Video

On Monday, July 4, Big B, Amitabh Bachchan visited the Ajmer Sharif - Holy Sufi Shrine in Ajmer, Rajasthan to untie a sacred thread tied by him 40 years ago.

68 year old legendary actor visited Ajmer Sharif in afternoon and paid homage at the dargah in the afternoon amidst a huge crowd of about 20,000 people.

He offered a chaddar to the tomb of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and walked to Asthana Sharif (nearby tomb) with the basket of chaddar on his head.

He conveyed this news to his fans through his twitter account saying, “On my way to Ajmer Sharif… was there almost 40 years ago… so much has changed since for me… reason enough to thank and pray,” Mr. Bachchan wrote on a social networking website.

“To fulfil a “mannat’ [wish] made more than 40 years ago… to untie a ‘dhaga’ that I had tied!” he said.

Bigg Boss 5 Participants and Host Details

Bigg Boss production house Endemol India and Colors TV is soon bringing season 5 of Bigg Boss titled as Bigg Boss 5.

You already are aware of what the previous seasons of Bigg Boss did, it was in news and limelight and had changed the definition of Indian Television, one can expect same this season, may be something bigger.

The Season 5 of Bigg Boss is scheduled to go on air from October.

Now its official that Sanjay Dutt, aka Munna Bhai will host season 5 of Bigg Boss. Sometime back Colors Channel had confirmed that they failed to retain Salman Khan as the host of this season. Salman Khan stepped out due to his busy schedule in October and November, and it was he who suggested them about Sanjay Dutt. Everything is finalized and if things go well, we'll see Sanjay hosting the Bigg Boss 5, said Colors TV at that point of time.

Endemol India and Colors are planning to make Bigg Boss 5 a little bit different. If the sources to be believed they are planning to bring in the contestants from last four seasons, and especially the most controversial contestants and the biggest news makers of all the previous four seasons will be brought to make headlines, and to increase show TRP's.

It means that in Season 5 of Bigg Boss we can expect names like Dolly Bindra, Raja Chaudhari, Sambhavana Seth, Rakhi Sawant, Kashmira Shah.

Other news is that Channel has approached Navjot Siddhu and have offered him a huge deal to be part of season 5. The cricketer-turned-commentator has been reportedly offered Rs 5 crore to be part of the reality drama.

There is also news in media that Kannada actress Maria Susairaj who is recently released from jail is likely to feature in Bigg Boss, just like channel earlier goot hold of Monica Bedi. “The moment she was free, we knew that she is a potential candidate for reality shows. She just fits the bill for us. Remember, we got Monica Bedi the moment she landed out of jail? , said a source from production team of the channel.

Apparently there is news in media that Pooja Bhatt, Nagma, Vishal Karwal have declined to be a part of Bigg Boss 5.

Victoria Beckham To Give Birth To Daughter Today

Today, July 4, David and Victoria Beckham are due to become parents for the fourth time, and this time they are preparing to welcome their first daughter.

The Beckham’s home is all clad in pink waiting for the arrival of their princess.

He and Victoria have booked her caesarean for July 4 – one of America’s biggest national holidays.

Speaking at the unveiling of the new LA Galaxy strip, Beckham could not contain his excitement and said “It’s a whole new different thing for us. To have so much pink in the house, lilac in the house, and dresses. All the clothes are ready, the room’s ready. We’re really excited.”

Beckham added that this dat of July 4 was very special for them. He and Victoria had got married on July 4, 12 years ago, and at that time also it was Monday.

He and Victoria alread have three sons 12 year old Brooklyn, 8 year old Romeo and 6 year old Cruz.

Ronald Reagan 10 foot Statue unveiled in London

Today on the ocassion of American Independence Day, July 4, a statue of the late U.S. President Ronald Reagan was unveiled by  left, former U.S. ambassador Robert Tuttle, Chairman of the Board for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation Fred Ryan, former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Britain's Foreign Secretary William Hague and current U.S. ambassador Louis B. Susman outside the U.S. embassy in London.

The 10 foot bronze was unveiled Monday to mark the centenary of Reagan's birth.

Ronald Reagan was hailed as "a great American hero".

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Reagan's birth on Feb. 6, 1911, in Tampico, Illinois. He was the 40th President of the United States (1981–1989), the 33rd Governor of California (1967–1975) and prior to that, a radio, film and television actor.

Dhoni - Sakshi Wedding Anniversary Today

Today, July 4, India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi are celebrating their first wedding anniversary.

It was the same day last year that they got married in a private ceremony held in Dehradun.

Currently Dhoni is in West Indies with his wife where Indian Cricket team is leading the test series 1 - 0 in the three-match series and the third and final test starts on Wednesday at Windsor Park in Roseau, Dominica.

Jetlite Plane Emergency Landing in Mumbai

Brealing News of the moment comes from Mumbai where a Bangalore-bound Jetlite aircraft made an emergency landing in afternoon.

Jetlite Flight S2-112 took off at 11.22 a.m. from Mumbai Airpirt but was forced to return  back an hour later due to a suspected engine snag.

A full emergency was declared at the airport at 12.33 p.m. and the flight landed safely a few minutes later, an airline official said .

“All the 173 passengers aboard are safe, they have been taken care of and put on alternate flights to Bangalore,” the official said.

The grounded aircraft is now being inspected by technicians.

Today's breaking news is that English footballer Ashley Cole is planning to marry his ex-wife Cheryl Cole, nine months after their divorce.

Cheryl Cole had dumped Ashley over his cheating after being publicly humiliated by his sordid antics.

Dailymail.co.uk reports that the 30-year-old footballer apparently told friends: ‘I’m going to marry Cheryl again, it’s what we both want.’

The 28-year-old Cherly has returned to their marital home in Surrey and he has vowed to change his ways.

A source said: "They got back together because they want children and they could not live without each other. They've never been happier."

The main reason they got back together was because they both realised they wanted to start a family and they could not live without one another. The first time around Cheryl’s career came first, but this time family is her priority. They both want children.
