Today Karen Gillan, 23 year old actress who is famous for her role of Time Lord’s assistant Amy Pond in British science fiction television series Doctor Who is in news for all wrong reasons.
Karen Gillan was found naked and "whimpering" in New York’s Ace Hotel's corridor at 7am after a night partying.
According to the Daily Mail, the cast and crew of the show had enjoyed "one long party" at aboe mentioned hotel during a promotional trip to the Big Apple.
A long-term resident of the hotel told the Mail: "I went to the peephole and looked out. I saw a man at the lift who was looking back at someone who was attempting to open my door.
"... Then I saw this young woman, completely naked, trying to wrap two towels around her and not having much luck.
"She then started to whimper and knock on my door. Seeing that she wasn't getting anywhere, she lay down with the towels covering her."
Happily, hotel security were soon on the scene and reportedly wrapped her up before taking her back to her own swanky suite.
After the incident, Karen Gillan's spokesperson declined to comment on it.
Show boss Stephen Moffatt and Matt Smith, who plays the Doctor, were also on the trip. ven they declined to comment on it.
