Technical Issues with fyjc.org.in/mumbai ; Students Face Problems While Filling Option Form Online
Yesterday, 22nd June 2011 the Stage 2 of the Online Admission Process for the First Year Junion College (FYJC) in Mumbai started online, but the ride was a difficult one for the students who tried to fill out their option forms on;line.
Firstly due to technical problems, the option form which was scheduled to go online in morning for FYJC 2011 Online Admission on fyjc.org.in/mumbai was not online till 3.00 pm, as students again and again tried visiting the website.
But it was not end of all problems.
Now after the link got activated and students tried to fill in their college preferences in three parts of the form, students started getting errors.
In Step 2 of the online admission process for fyjc in 2011, students have to list a minimum of 35 colleges in their option form. The option form is divided into three parts: Students first have to list a minimum of 15 colleges from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, then they have to fill in the names of preferred colleges in their zones — a minimum of 15 —and finally, they have to list a minimum of five colleges from their ward.
After entering all options, when students tried to submit their forms, they got errors, and only for few lucky ones the forms could get submitted and confirmed. Only 298 option forms were confirmed, whereas around 3,319 students could not complete their forms.
Some of the students even companinted that after completing the form and getting submitted and confiirmed status, when they re-visited their login-id they got errors that their form is complete but not submitted and Submit link and bottom was missing.
But now by evening it seems that those technical issues have been resolved and lets hope nothing new technical issue does not come up.
We advice all students to see the visual tour of filling the option form first available on http://fyjc.org.in/mumbai main page and they only login to your account and fill in the option form. Also please fill the form with due care and attention and take printout at each stage.
Best of Luck Guys !!!
